The Kirkwood neighborhood is situated on the north side of Plymouth and is bordered by Northwest Blvd and Bass Lake Rd. Kirkwood is a quaint and family-friendly community. Within the neighborhood, there are approximately 150 single-family homes featuring rambler and styles ranging in price from $200,000 to $1.02 Million. Kirkwood is an excellent neighborhood boasting a great homes for sale, convenient location, and numerous amenities.

Residents of Kirkwood enjoy various shopping, dining, and recreational amenities in the area, including Eagle Lake Regional Park, Eagle Lake, Pike Lake, Bass Lake, Rockford Road Plaza, Clifton French Regional Park, and Hollydale Golf Course. Eagle Lake Regional Park is a 230-acre outdoor recreational area that offers visitors opportunities including biking, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing as well as Eagle Lake Youth Golf Center. Pike Lake is located slightly east of the Kirkwood neighborhood and offers activities including boating, swimming, and fishing.

Independent School District 279, also known as Osseo Area Schools, serves Kirkwood residents. Osseo Area Schools is the 5th largest school district in Minnesota offering top-notch education designed to prepare students for the real world. One excellent school in the district is Cedar Island Elementary School, which serves over 350 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade and is dedicated to providing students with an excellent educational experience. Other schools in the area include Oakview Elementary School, Maple Grove Middle School, Osseo Middle School, Osseo High School, Maranatha Christian Academy,  and Hennepin Technical College.
